Blue Elephant Media Pty Ltd has spent the last five years producing community-based online advertising magazines. Now it’s time for something new. Three years ago, I became aware that the name Australian Business Directory was available. I was surprised that such a title was still available and didn’t think twice about taking ownership of it. I did nothing with the name for three years but when COVID-19 came into our lives I saw it as an opportunity to continue my business but more importantly to assist others in these uncertain times.

Every business starts with someone’s passion. To have an overwhelming feeling that it is about to be no more is a heart-rendering moment. I asked myself, “What can I do to save my business?” “What can I do to help other businesses in the same boat?” All I knew was that I did not want to lose what I had worked so hard to achieve. Additionally, I was feeling for all of the businesses who have supported us over the last five years.
