Grind and Seal
There are numerous myths about polished concrete. Most people believe that polished concrete is the only type of concrete floor finish. When, in fact, there are numerous types of finishes in the industry. A grind and seal finish is one of the most popular finishes that our clients seek. The grind & seal finish provides a smooth satin matte finish to the floor and is ideal for clients looking for a rustic industrial finish, which is currently popular in cafes and restaurants. The benefit of this finish is that it is inexpensive and helps to protect the concrete slab from stains and spills.
Honed Concrete
Honed concrete is a beautiful flooring option for your outdoor concrete areas. We will grind to the desired aggregate exposure with specific diamond tooling and then apply either a penetrative or topical sealer. Because this finish is not Grouted, like polished concrete, there will be small air pockets or ‘pinholes’ due to the fundamental nature of the concrete.
Polished Concrete
